Salamay: E.P.

Salamay is an up and coming artist from Cork, Ireland. This album cover was designed for his latest project "Enemy of Progress". The inspiration for the grungy, monochromatic treatment of this cover comes from the title and message that the artist portrays in his music which comes from struggle and deep emotions. A collaborative effort between the photographer, director of photography and myself. Collectively, we worked on set to produce the images and this in turn inspired how I came up with the final images from a design perspective while also staying in line with the artist's message.
